The Thomas P. Turner Foundation proudly sponsors events in and around Hancock County to support local charities. Proceeds from the events go to support the sponsored charity, so they can provide services to those who are in need. In past events, we have supported Feast of Plenty Outreach, Meals on Wheels of Hancock County, the Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen, and the foundations of all four public school corporations in Hancock County.
The Thomas P. Turner Foundation is a passion project of Paul Wheeler and Andy Turner, named after Andy's late father, Thomas P. Turner., who passed on Sept. 4, 2020. The nonprofit organization hosts fundraising events in Hancock County where proceeds are donated to local charities in Hancock County. Our goal is to help people in need. We believe that every single individual deserves to have basic needs and resources.
Thomas P. Turner was a man of his word. A man of his community. Mr. Turner never shied away from helping those in need. His acts of generosity and compassion touched the lives of children and families in the community. Chartered in 2021 by members of the Turner family, the Foundation honors his memory by hosting events and sponsoring local charities. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, contributions to the foundation are tax-deductible.
